DeepDAO, a company that lists, ranks, and analyzes top decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) across multiple metrics, has shown on its website that the number of active DAOs has increased from 10 to 76 in 2020.
Among the 76 presented on the DeepDAO website list include mStable, Airalab, 6Ef0c0b0, pNetwork, Aragon Trust, dxDAO, 4c4bf6a8, Aragon Network, MetaCartel Ventures, and many more.
According to the DeepDAO platform, pNetwork is on the lead in terms of membership together with Bancor, recording a total of at least 1,000 members each. The platform further shows that Genesis has the highest number of proposals (383), followed by dxDAO which has 268 in total.
Notably, Genesis Alpha has the highest number of members (128) who voted on proposals, followed by dxDAO with 102 voters. Meanwhile, mStable scooped the top position in terms of assets management and capital flow.
There are over 2,000 DAOs in operation, consisting of thousands of members who manage diverse asset classes. According to DeepDAO CEO and Founder Eyal Eithcowich, the only way to understand this type of organization is “to understand its patterns over time”.
DAOs are being applied to many more use cases today including open-source software development, gaming, democracy, energy, freelance work, sports, healthcare, and insurance.
DeepDAO‘s website displays diverse information on each of these DAOs including assets under management (AUM) and their respective DAO members.
