Crypto exchange giant Bittrex Global has launched its tokenized stock trading platform. With this, users can now access tokenized stocks of popular companies. These include Apple, Tesla, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Alibaba, Netflix, and Pfizer.

Subsequently, by utilizing the above-listed companies, users will have an option to the tokenized stock trading without any outdoor broker or additional chargeback cost.

This tokenized stock trading platform is due to Bittrex’s collaboration with DigitalAssets.AG.

Interested persons can buy tokenized shares by using fiat commodity assets like the US dollar infraction with Tether (USDT) and Bitcoin (BTC). In fact, Bittrex offers access to its innovation to several countries that exempt the US stock markets.

Bittrex CEO Tom Albright said,

Traditional clearing systems are inefficient and complex and trading small volumes can be expensive and take days, all of which is totally unnecessary given the technological advances that have been made in the last decades.

The announcement added that this is “the first step” in creating more accessible markets. Here, security token offerings (STOs) can attract more mature investors. Furthermore, Bittrex considers this as a milestone wherein traditional financial services are adopting blockchain technology.

Aside from the stocks of major companies mentioned above, other tokenized stocks available include SPDR S&P 500 ETF, Beyond Meat, BioNTech, and Bilibili.
