Many Twitter users retweeted Lee’s post, with some asking for the competition rules and other Tesla Cybertruck giveaway mechanics.
Prior to this, Lee tweeted in 2020, saying that he will do the above-said if BTC price exceeds $39.9K by the end of 2021. At that time, one BTC was only worth less than $10K.
Meanwhile, Elon has yet to reply to Lee’s tweet despite the latter tagging him in the post.
As Tesla revealed during an event in Los Angeles, a Cybertruck would initially cost $39,900. Consequently, Lee predicted that people could buy the said vehicle with just 1 BTC. Hence, the tweet above.
True enough, BTC has reached even $40K recently, making it the current all-time high (ATH). at the time of writing, one BTC is worth $39,022.33, according to CoinGecko.
