CoinQuora Exclusive Interview — Vedran Vukman, CEO of Revuto

Vedran Vukman, CEO of Revuto Interview

Vedran Vukman is the CEO of Revuto. He is an entrepreneur who is supporting the upcoming World Blockchain Summit in Dubai. Revuto is an official sponsor of the event.

The CoinQuora team asked Vedran questions to help us get to know him, what they do at Revuto, and to tell us some things about his insights on the blockchain and crypto market. Without further ado, here’s the interview.

Q. Please give us an introduction of yourself. What’s your background?

My name is Vedran, and I’m a serial entrepreneur building and investing in startups for a decade. Starting last year, I’m CEO and co-founder of Revuto, one of the first decentralized services built on Cardano, to help people manage and pay for their subscriptions.

Q. How did you get into cryptocurrency? What’s your motivation?

In January 2017, I came to San Francisco to work for my previous company. At the time crypto market started its big rally, so I found myself in the right place at the right time. Everybody from the IT community talked about crypto, and I used the opportunity to learn about it as much as I could.

Q. How did you start with your current company? Could you tell us about the business?

I met my co-founders Josipa Majic and Marko Rukonic, while visiting crypto meet-ups. While Marko was working for the biggest fintech company in the world (Intuit), Josipa was running her own fintech business. Talking about new trends, we found out subscriptions were growing more than 100% year over year. Dots connected, and we decided to build an app that will help people save money on their subscriptions while leveraging crypto and Defi services with subscription payments.

Q. What would you say is the unique selling point of your company? What makes it different from other blockchains/crypto businesses?

Revuto is the only subscription management app allowing its users to maximize their financial potential by staking their crypto and providing liquidity to other users. Revuto’s setup is unique in the crypto market because its core business depends on the real-world use case (subscription payments) that should secure sustainability even when the crypto-market sentiment is not favorable.

Q. What do you personally think about current crypto market trends?

I’m amazed by the Defi setups that allow people to have financial freedom while their money works for them. The fact that you can instantly provide liquidity to people or businesses worldwide without any obstacles is fantastic.

Q. Please share your thoughts on the future of Blockchain technology and Fintech evolution.

I’m convinced that blockchain technology is providing the necessary efficiency for the future, and it comes as the result of the digital transformation of the financial business. In short, old (archaic) financial setups don’t make sense in the world of high-speed and secure internet connectivity and mobile apps.

Q. Do you have anything specific to share about your projects?

Although Revuto business is built to deal with subscriptions, our end vision is to become one of the most prominent builders of the Cardano ecosystem. In that regard, recently, we introduced a 2 million USD R Fund to help other businesses build and launch their tokens on Cardano.

Q. How does it feel to be a part of the Dubai Blockchain ecosystem by taking part in the 19th Edition of the World Blockchain Summit in Dubai on Oct 13-14?

We see Dubai as one of the biggest technology hubs globally, so we feel honored to present our team and our plans with Revuto on such a fantastic stage.
