According to a tweet, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said he would never decline being paid in Bitcoin.
Elon’s tweet came in response to Ben Mezrich, the writer of the movie ‘The Social Network.’ Mezrich said that he would never decline being paid in Bitcoin. To this, Elon replied, saying “me neither.”
Also, according to Forbes, Elon’s interest in Bitcoin increases due to the continuous boost of the digital currency. Moreover, He aims to own and know more about BTC’s capability to be able to carry out large transactions.
Previously, Elon entered into a discussion with MicroStrategy Inc CEO Michael Saylor. Subsequently, Saylor advised Elon to move Tesla’s balance sheet from the US fiat dollars to Bitcoin. By doing so, it will yield a $100 billion favor to Tesla’s shareholders. As a result, this will engage many other S&P 500 companies to show interest.
