Global investment bank Goldman Sachs has unveiled a list of over 19 large-cap stocks that have surpassed the S&P 500 in terms of performance.
Of note, the stocks effectively did well with an impact of blockchain and cryptocurrency exposure amid the Bitcoin price surge.
To mention a few, the listed stocks are Tesla, JPMorgan Chase, Facebook, Microstrategy, Class A, Visa Class A, Coinbase, Class A, Marathon Digital Holdings, Paypal Holdings, and more.
About the stock, Goldman Sachs managing director Ben Snider said,
Our screen yields 19 stocks with market caps greater than $1 billion … On average, these stocks have outperformed the S&P 500 by 34 percentage points year to date (+46% vs. +12%).
Also, Snider added that the listed stocks overwhelmingly performed well at the time when the Bitcoin price increased drastically to 86%. Not Bitcoin alone, Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index also had 156% that time.
Based on a report, Goldman Sachs eventually used about three methods in listing the said stocks. Precisely, Goldman used Text search and regression analysis. Meanwhile, Goldman examined the inclusion in the 3rd party blockchain indexes and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
In addition, Goldman Sachs aims to increase the exposure of its Bitcoin trading desk with a spectrum of crypto investment products. On the other hand, Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon recently said that he believes there will be a great evolution in crypto regulations.
