Anthony Pompliano announced the launch of a crypto and blockchain jobs site PompCryptoJobs backed by Coinbase, BlockFi, and Gemini. It aims to bridge the gap between job seekers and crypto and blockchain firms.
Pomp connects jobs seekers with blockchain firms
Pomp is a renowned crypto evangelist and a Morgan Creek Digital partner. Moreover, he has over half a million followers on Twitter. With this in mind, he plans to leverage his large audience to bring firms and job candidates together in a talent marketplace.
Pomp said in an interview,
…millions of people who are out of work in the United States, and many more that want to transition into the Bitcoin and crypto industry… an easy solution to create a marketplace where job candidates and corporations could find and connect with each other.
However, PompCryptoJobs went live with more than 100 open crypto job positions, advertised by its three launch partners. In addition, the site functions like other job sites, convenient for both job seekers as well as employers.
More so, the site expects to make money from firms posting jobs. Added to this, the charges range from $200 to $2500 per month as per the listings posted. Furthermore, the site caters to both remote and in-person job seekers despite their global location.
Nevertheless, the revenue system involves paying a monthly fee to list positions. Pomp’s main goal is to get 10,000 jobs on the board this year.
Recently, Pomp also led a $50 million investment round in crypto lender BlockFi.
