Terra Virtua Hires Marketing Veteran Pierre Dadd

Marketing veteran Pierre Dadd, coming with experience from LEGO, Disney, and Auto Trader, has joined forces with Terra Virtua as Marketing Director.

The marketing-wiz comes with over 20 years of experience in brand development. His work with iconic kids’ entertainment brands has prepared him well for the hiccups of the crypto industry.

For instance, his seven-year tenure at LEGO saw him in various roles at global, regional as well as local levels. He was part of launching many exciting properties and worked with global IPs. Working there, he also laid the foundations of the first LEGO virtual world.

His roles at Disney also set the stage for him to become the marketing expert that he is today. Dadd was part of the digital marketing teams for the UK, Europe, Middle East. and Africa (EMEA) regions. During his time there, he played a huge part in developing Disney’s online game presence. Club Penguin, the UK’s number one kids’ online gaming brand, is one of his most notable projects.

His work at Auto Trader has also achieved many milestones as he helped reinvent the company’s brand identity. Not just this, but it remains one of the most recognizable online platforms for selling and buying cars in the UK. Taking his experience to the next level, he founded his own firm called DBMC Brand Consultants. It enabled him to use his expertise to further other companies’ goals.

Taking the lead in Marketing at Terra Virtua, Pierre will work to bring the company and NFTs to the mainstream. As such, his earlier work exclusively includes developing digital platforms and managing brand identities. Because of this background, he will add value to the blockchain-based collectibles platform.

In relation to this, Gary Bracey, CEO of Terra Virtua stated, “I knew after seeing Pierre’s resume that we needed to hire him as Marketing Director for Terra Virtua,”

“His wealth of experience brings the perfect balance of domain knowledge, creativity, and scrappiness required to take NFTs to the mainstream. We know maintaining NFTs into popular perception is going to be a tough challenge, and Pierre’s wealth of experience at Disney and LEGO will be instrumental to guide us in that direction,” he added.
