UAE-Based ZelaaPayAE Launches Mastercard Crypto Debit Card

UAE-Based ZelaaPayAE Launches Mastercard Crypto Debit Card
  • UAE-based ZelaaPayAE has announced the launch of its Mastercard-enabled crypto debit card.
  • For this launch, ZelaaPayAE partnered with Baanx.
  • The crypto debit card will support eight different currencies like USD, CHY, JPY, GBP, and more.

Dubai-based ZelaaPayAE has launched its Mastercard-enabled crypto debit card — the first in the said country. This is in partnership with Baanx, a blockchain-based fintech firm.

The crypto debit card will function as a gateway for crypto users to use cryptocurrency in their everyday life expenses.

Specifically, ZelaaPayAE’s crypto debit card will offer support for at least 8 different fiat currencies. Namely, these are the US dollar, Chinese yuan, Japanese yen, British pound, and others.

Moreso, unlike other existing crypto to fiat debit cards that option users to preload before using, the ZelaaPayAE Debit Card does not.

Furthermore, by using the crypto debit card, the holder will pay an infinitesimal chargeback per month. Also, for peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions, users can pay for goods and services with just a swipe using the crypto debit card.

With the Mastercard debit card launch, ZelaaPayAE aims to empower a seamless blockchain-based payment experience not only to the UAE but to the entire world.

Meanwhile, Binance, Swipe, and Crypto.com also provides Visa-based debit cards even though there are restrictions on their usage in some regions.
