CNBC interviewed Visa CEO Alfred Kelly on crypto payment growth recovery throughout the recent COVID-19 crisis. He said that they now look to cryptocurrency with much interest.

Kelly said in the video,

We’re working with about 25 crypto players already in the world today, Carl, where we’re facilitating putting  a Visa credential in their system where you can convert your crypto based on a fiat currency and put the funds in a wallet where you can use them at anywhere Visa is accepted.

He also advised individuals to stay safe and follow the medical experts’ guidelines wherever necessary.  On this,  he remarked that despite the late lockdown everywhere, the COVID has interestingly helped for payment.

Moreover, since people can transfer the virus by physical money, many have become reluctant in using cash. For this, debit or credit card uses mainly became frequent as compared to how paper money was used of late.

Following the above-mentioned, looking at how e-commerce is massively driving the world, people now shop via their phones and computers said. This has increased the number of persons who now use online shopping.

Kelly also said that governments are now welcoming digital payments as they begin to show much interest. Moreover, as there are heavy restrictions now on travelling, Visa hopes that this comes to an end shortly for the progress of crypto payment.
